​​​​​Our Care Managers coordinate and facilitate a process of working with children and families utilizing a strength-based team approach (Wraparound practice model) to ensure the family's complex needs are addressed and met.

Successful Care Managers are able to work intensively with the children and families they serve. They are emotionally mature and able to handle stressful situations. Successful Care Managers communicate well in speaking and writing, are well-organized, and have a strong work ethic. They are creative when faced with challenges and flexible in meeting constraints, and caring for the well-being of the families.​


Salary and Benefits

Care Manager salaries are competitive for mental health workers in our area. MonmouthCares Care Managers receive excellent benefits including medica, dental, and prescription care, as well as group life insurance and retirement plans.

Care Managers receive 12 paid holidays per year, accrue three weeks of vacation, three personal leave days, and accrue 12 days of sick leave each year. MonmouthCares offers a positive supportive work environment.


Qualification Requirements

Individuals with undergraduate Degrees in Social Work, Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related fields that also have at least two years of experience working with children or adults with mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse challenges.


Individuals with graduate Degrees in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related fields with or without experience.


Bilingual (English and Spanish) skills desirable.
