Digital Lift

Digital Lift accepts used computers that are reconditioned and given to needy families enrolled in MonmouthCares and grass-roots community organizations serving at-risk children.

Donated computers must have a processor of at least 1GHz and Processor speed, 2 GHz and higher preferred. - Processor capable of running Windows XP - laptops preferred - desktops with smaller foot print - LCD (thin flat monitors) - or small CRT monitors. - USB mice - USB keyboards - laptop stands - RAM: at least 0.5 GB (with capacity for 1-2 GB) - spare chips are nice to have since PCs need different chips. - Hard drives 40 GB and larger Bottom line is computer must have processor about 2 GHz since we can upgrade RAM, OS, etc. We appreciate getting operating system, but can also install it. Apple computers welcome. Adobe software and Crystal Reports are a bonus.

The High Technology High School Computer Club reconditions the donated computers for us before they are given to a needy family.

We have many needy kids and teens waiting for computers so they can compete with their school peers on a more equal footing.
